CREDIT AUTHORIZATION AGREEMENT

By submitting your information and clicking the “Get Started” or “Free Assessment” button, you provide your express written consent under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) for Faith Based Debt Assistance and its network of debt relief partners, financial service providers, and credit counseling agencies to obtain and use information from your credit report.

1. Purpose of Authorization

You understand that by clicking “Submit” (or similar), you are providing “written instructions” to Faith Based Debt Assistance and our partners to obtain credit report information from one or more consumer reporting agencies (such as Equifax, Experian, or TransUnion). This information is used solely to:

  • Verify your identity.
  • Assess your current debt-to-income ratio.
  • Determine your eligibility for specific debt relief, settlement, or consolidation programs.
  • Provide you with personalized financial stewardship options.

2. “Soft Pull” vs. “Hard Pull”

In most preliminary assessment cases, our partners will perform a “Soft Credit Pull.” A soft pull allows us to see your credit summary for pre-qualification purposes and does not impact your credit score. However, if you choose to move forward and enroll in a specific debt relief or lending program, the service provider may perform a “Hard Credit Pull” as part of their final underwriting process. You will be notified by the specific provider before a hard pull is conducted.

3. Duration of Authorization

This authorization is valid for one (1) year from the date of submission or until you withdraw your consent. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us in writing, although doing so may limit our ability to provide you with accurate debt relief options.

4. Accuracy of Information

You certify that all information you provide in your inquiry is true, accurate, and complete. You understand that our partners rely on the accuracy of your credit report and the information you provide to deliver an honest assessment of your financial situation.

5. No Obligation

Obtaining your credit information does not obligate you to enroll in any program. Our goal is to provide you with the data and options you need to make a prayerful, informed decision about your financial future.

6. Security and Confidentiality

We treat your credit information with the highest level of stewardship and security. All credit data is transmitted via secure, encrypted channels (SSL) and is only shared with the partners necessary to fulfill your request for assistance.

Acknowledgment

By clicking the “Submit” or “Get Started” button on our Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Credit Authorization Agreement. You authorize Faith Based Debt Assistance and its affiliates to obtain your credit report as described above.
